Leadership starts at the kitchen table.

Every keynote I give makes one argument: leadership is service. HeartWork is that argument, taught at home.

As machines take over more of the work, the skills that matter most are the ones no machine can do for you: listening, owning a mistake, keeping a promise, showing up for someone who can't pay you back. Kids don't learn those from a screen. They learn them from the people at their table.

So the whole family does it together, parents included. One card a night. Read it out loud, do the family practice, and carry the challenge into the next day.
