CHRIS VALLETTA

Faith & Education

For schools, universities, and faith-based organizations.

The same message, built for students, athletes, and communities.

Leadership is service. That is not a slogan I put on for a chapel or an assembly. It is the argument I make everywhere, and it happens to be the one young people are starving to hear said plainly by someone who has lived it.

I have spoken for Christian schools, chapel services, Bible studies, university athletic departments, commencements, and for faith-based organizations like the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Young Life. I talk about holding the rope for each other, about the position nobody claps for, and about becoming the kind of person other people can count on when it costs something. Faith is present in how I say it, because it is present in how I live. It is never a performance and never a wedge.

There is a harder truth under all of this, and faith is where I finally saw it. The same grace that lets you serve is grace you first have to be willing to receive. Christ washed feet, and He also let people serve Him. You cannot pour out what you will not let God, and the people He put around you, pour in. Leadership is service, and part of serving is being humble enough to be served.

The values rate

The number is never the reason you say no.

I hold one door open for schools, churches, and nonprofits, priced so the mission comes first. It is a values decision, not a discount, and it is the same talk I give anywhere else.

If an in-person visit is out of range, a virtual keynote gives a smaller budget a way in. Tell me what you have to work with and we will find the fit.

Who I speak for

Christian schools and chapels.

Students can tell in ninety seconds whether a speaker is performing or telling the truth. I do not perform. I talk about holding the rope for each other, about the position nobody claps for, and about becoming the kind of person others can count on when it costs something. Faith is present in how I say it, because it is present in how I live.

Universities and athletic departments.

I played offensive line at Texas A&M and then in the NFL, and I have sat in the locker room and the athletic department. I speak to student-athletes and university leaders about the leadership instincts they already carry and what those are worth after the last game. It is the idea that became AmplifyU.

Faith-based organizations and ministries.

I have spoken for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Young Life, chapel services, and Bible studies. It is the same message I give everywhere, said plainly by someone who has tried to live it. Leadership is service, and service starts with being willing to be served.

“A man of the Lord, Chris values his relationship with God and serves as a teacher and support system for his family and friends. I have personally benefited from his wisdom and strong spiritual guidance.”
Tim M., friend of more than 15 years

Commencements.

A commencement has a job to do, and a clock. I send a class into the world with one idea they can carry, delivered in the time you have and built for the families in the room, not a generic charge they forget by the parking lot.

Bring it home

Send the message home with your families.

HeartWork is the 100-day card deck I made for my own sons. One card a night, five minutes around the table. Schools and churches can get it for every family at a bulk rate. The talk lasts an hour. This keeps going for a hundred days.
